This putter is made from "Lacewood", a stong hardwood that has a remarkable, almost "lace-like" grain pattern.  The center stripe is Padauk, a wood highly prized for it's near red color.  The accent lines, faceplate and sole are made of ebony.

"Lacewood" Putter

This is one of the most striking putters I've made.   It's a contemporary shape and features "wings" made of Jatoba with and Ebony center stripe, and face plateThe aiming dots are brass.  It features an offset steel shaft and Deluxe  putting grip.

The "Christo" is the most popular model of putter that I make.  Each one is unique depending upon the random placement of the mosaic pieces.  Over 20 different species of wood are included in the pattern.   You'll never see another putter like this one, anywhere!  The one in the picture is left handed but I also have a right handed one available.

The "Christo"

If you want people to take a second look at your putter, this is the one for you.  It's made from an incredible piece of quilted maple that I was lucky enough to obtain.  The photo does not totally capture the effect, but the "ribbons" appear to be three-dimensional and actually look to be about 3/8" deep.  Yet when you run your finger over it, the surface is perfectly smooth and flat.  The "stripe" and sole plate are black walnut and the faceplate is ebony.  This is a truly striking piece!

Quilted Maple Putter

Ribbons appear to be 3 D

If you favor the traditional mallet style putter, you won't find a more striking one that this.  It's made of Elm "Flame" Burl and the picture just doesn't do it justice.  It features a Black Walnut Center Stripe and Sole Plate with an Ebony face plate.  The shaft is Offset Steel with a black putting grip.

If you prefer more of a "blade" design, I think you'll like this one!  The design includes an inlay I've made from a wide variety of different woods and framed in Padauk along with Ebony faceplates.  I've also mounted this particular head on a black graphite shaft which just seemed to be the perfect match for this putter head.  I promise you it will spark conversation on any putting green!

If you prefer a lighter colored wood, here's a version of the "Aztec" made from a beautiful piece of Birdseye Maple.   Good Birdseye is becoming almost imposible to find as almost everything harvested is cut into veneers.  This is a truly striking putter!

"Aztec in Birdseye Maple"

This is a beautiful mallet shaped putter made from the same Jatoba the "Cyclops" above is made from.  It's a very warm and rich looking wood.  The Center Stripe is Paduak, the Face Plate is Ebony and the Sole Plate is a dark Coco Bolo.
